Position - CFS Head

Reporting to - Joint MD

Job Location - Nhava Sheva (Navi Mumbai)

Job Purpose:

- The CFS Head is responsible for end-to-end management of the Container Freight Station, ensuring smooth operations, statutory compliance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The role involves leadership across operations, finance, commercial, safety, and stakeholder management.

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate / Postgraduate (Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)

- 20+ years of experience in CFS / ICD / Port operations

- Prior experience as CFS Head / Operations Head / Terminal Head preferred

Operations Management:

- Oversee import and export CFS operations, including stuffing, de-stuffing, cargo handling, yard and warehouse management.

- Ensure optimal utilization of yard space, equipment, and manpower.

- Monitor turnaround time (TAT), productivity, and service quality.

- Implement SOPs for safe and efficient cargo movement.

Customs & Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure full compliance with Customs, Port, SEZ, and other statutory regulations.

- Coordinate with Customs authorities, shipping lines, CHAs, port officials, and other stakeholders.

- Manage audits, inspections, and renewals of CFS licenses and approvals.

- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and system compliance (ICEGATE, etc.).
