Job Description:
This incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that our organization operates within legal and regulatory boundaries. The role involves developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
The incumbent will oversee adherence to laws and regulations that apply to our Stores, DC & HO and work closely with internal teams to provide guidance on compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shall be responsible for processing all the regulatory & statutory approvals & permission for operating retail stores, warehouses and offices.
- Responsible for resolving the compliance audit observations.
- Handling of Regulatory Notices / litigation/Licensing under Fire & Safety, Drugs, Agri-business, Labour,FSSAI, Consumer Act & Civil & Criminal cases Ensuring timely replies to notices issued by the various stakeholder.
- Random review/verification of various terms & conditions and policies
- Mitigate business risks by managing regulatory compliances and environmental challenges.
- Policy advocacy at Government levels with proactive approach with several authorities.
- Support in matters related to Government authorities & police and dealing with then to resolve issues on high priority.
- Responsible for a tech based compliance framework & maintenance of entire compliance repository.
- Ready to travel in a short notice across the country
