Role Overview:
The Head Compliance will be responsible for leading the compliance function for the housing finance business, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, statutory obligations, internal policies, and applicable guidelines. The role will oversee regulatory monitoring, risk management, audits, and engagement with regulators and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall regulatory compliance function for the housing finance business.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
- Develop and strengthen compliance frameworks, policies, processes, and controls.
- Ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes across relevant business functions.
- Oversee compliance monitoring, reviews, audits, and closure of identified observations.
- Identify and assess compliance risks and drive appropriate mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Manage liaison with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and returns.
- Provide compliance guidance to senior management and business teams on regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective documentation and reporting of compliance activities and risk assessments.
- Drive a strong culture of regulatory compliance and governance across the organization.
