Are you a strategic C&B leader with expertise in building equitable, compliant, and data-driven reward systems? A leading retail organization is looking for a Head Compensation & Benefits to drive enterprise-wide initiatives across total rewards, in-house payroll, and employee benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Compensation Strategy: Design, implement, and benchmark competitive compensation structures across all levels, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end in-house payroll operations with a strong emphasis on compliance, accuracy, and automation.
- Benefits Administration: Develop and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs including insurance, wellness, and retirement plans.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Utilize HR analytics and dashboards to provide strategic insights, track ROI, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Automation & Efficiency: Champion automation and process improvements across compensation, payroll, and benefits functions.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to labor laws, audits, and internal control mechanisms.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing C&B team; collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and HR Business Partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1012 years of progressive experience in Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll preferably within the Retail, FMCG, or Consumer sectors.
- Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with in-house payroll systems, statutory compliance, HR technology platforms, and data security protocols.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, incentive and variable pay design, and total rewards strategies.
- Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute
