
Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Head Compensation & Benefits for a leading diversified business group. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing and driving the organization's total rewards philosophy, compensation strategy, and executive rewards framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Compensation & Benefits function across multiple businesses/entities.
- Design and implement compensation structures, salary architecture, job grading, and career frameworks aligned with business strategy.
- Drive annual compensation review cycles, market benchmarking, salary surveys, and pay governance.
- Partner with globally recognized consulting firms such as Mercer, Korn Ferry, Aon, Willis Towers Watson (WTW), Deloitte, EY, PwC, or KPMG to build or redesign compensation frameworks, job architecture, grading structures, and rewards programs.
- Lead large-scale organization-wide compensation transformation, harmonization, and rewards restructuring initiatives.
- Design executive compensation, variable pay, long-term incentive plans (LTIPs), retention programs, and sales incentive structures.
- Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
- Present compensation proposals and strategic recommendations to CXOs, CHROs, Board Committees, and senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate:
- 8-15+ years of HR experience with deep specialization in Compensation & Benefits.
- Hands-on experience leading compensation design for a large business group, conglomerate, or multinational organization with a complex organizational structure.
- Must have independently managed high-impact compensation projects in collaboration with top consulting firms (Mercer, Korn Ferry, Aon, WTW, etc.), including job evaluation, grading, compensation benchmarking, and organization-wide rewards transformation.
- Strong expertise in job architecture, market benchmarking, pay philosophy, executive rewards, benefits strategy, incentive design, and compensation analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic people decisions through data-backed rewards frameworks.
