We are looking for a candidate to kickstart, help launch and build our B2B Private Label Brands. Our Company is a seed-funded startup building an alternative B2B channel, to help suppliers launch their own brands and scale. This would be a great opportunity to take on a leadership role in a rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities : - Lead the Buying, Sourcing and Category function for the organization - Conceptualize and develop the sourcing strategy for each of Company's B2B Brands - Identifying and developing vendors - both for sourcing and also for strategic partnerships to scale their existing brands - Drive margins and overall product quality on the platform - Working closely with sales ops, supply chain and marketing teams to ensure the right product is available at the right price, at the right quality - Set the direction for financially sound season/category plans based on forecasts and interpretation of historical data plus external trend analysis - Formulate the merchandising strategy and direction for buying teams - review actuals against plan and set the direction for any contingency plans - Own the Category P&L and Margins of each Private Label Requirements : - Experience building a Brand under a Private Label - Familiarity with Procurement, Vendor Onboarding, Regulatory Requirements in Apparel Manufacturing - Strong Data Analytical Skills and an ability to identify & solve ambiguous problems Note : This is onsite job
