
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and result-oriented Head of Career Development Cell (CDC) to lead placement initiatives, build strong corporate partnerships, and drive exceptional student employability outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in placements and corporate relations, along with a strong industry network and a proven track record of achieving high placement success rates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Placement Strategy & Corporate Relations
- Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy to achieve high placement rates
- Build and nurture relationships with corporate partners, HR leaders, and hiring managers
- Secure recruitment tie-ups and hiring agreements (MoUs) with leading organizations
- Drive corporate outreach and expand the employer network, Enhance student employability through structured initiatives and industry alignment
- Strengthen alumni engagement via mentorship programs and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with technical teams to align curriculum with industry needs
- Lead CDC operations, ensuring team efficiency and achievement of placement goals
- Implement and optimize placement tools and systems for operational excellence
2. Industry Networking & Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging job roles
- Represent the organization at career fairs, industry events, and corporate summits
- Build employer engagement programs and strengthen brand presence in the industry
- Gather employer feedback and develop insights to improve placement strategies
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Track placement metrics, hiring trends, and student success data
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with placement targets and performance benchmarks
Key Requirements
-10+ years of experience in Placements / Corporate Relations (EdTech preferred)
- Strong network with corporate leaders, HR professionals, and hiring managers
- Proven track record of achieving high placement rates and securing partnerships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in organizing career fairs, campus drives, and employer engagement programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related fields
- Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or Corporate Training industry
