Head - CAPEX/Procurement

Description: The Head CapEx Procurement will lead and govern the end-to-end capital expenditure procurement function across large-scale projects including plants, warehouses, automation, infrastructure, and technology investments. This role is responsible for CapEx strategy, vendor development, cost optimization, contract management, and ensuring timely delivery of high-value projects in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end CapEx procurement for greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and modernization projects

- Develop CapEx sourcing strategy aligned with project timelines and business priorities

- Manage procurement of plant & machinery, MHE, automation systems, utilities, construction, and EPC contracts

- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and TCO-based sourcing decisions

- Lead vendor identification, qualification, negotiation, and long-term partnerships

- Oversee contract structuring, commercial negotiations, and risk mitigation

- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and audit requirements

- Track CapEx budgets, savings, and procurement KPIs

- Lead and mentor CapEx procurement teams across locations
