Head - Buying - Luxury Retail Business - Travel Retail Segment

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Head Buying for one of India's fastest-growing premium retail businesses operating in the Travel Retail segment.

The role will be responsible for driving the buying strategy across categories including Perfumes & Cosmetics, Confectionery, Tobacco, Fashion, Destination Merchandise, and Boutiques, while managing relationships with leading global luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute category buying strategies

- Drive revenue, margins, and inventory optimization

- Lead vendor negotiations with premium international brands

- Manage assortment planning across multiple retail locations

- Drive pricing, promotions, and new product launches

- Lead and mentor the buying team

- Collaborate closely with Retail, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations

Ideal Candidate:

- 20+ years of Buying/Merchandising experience

- Leadership experience heading the Buying function

- Strong exposure to Luxury Retail, Premium Fashion, Beauty, Cosmetics, Watches, Jewellery, Travel Retail, or Duty Free

- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills

- Experience managing large vendor portfolios and premium brands

- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
