The role will spearhead enterprise-wide business process excellence, digital transformation, and operational improvement across the manufacturing value chain from farming and procurement to production, logistics, and commercial functions. The mandate includes driving measurable cost optimization, productivity enhancement, working capital improvement, and EBITDA uplift while establishing best-in-class governance and technology-driven systems.

This position is ideal for a transformation leader with deep exposure to manufacturing sectors such as Sugar (Preferred) , FMCG, Textiles, Agriculture Processing, or relevant process industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Excellence & Transformation:

- Lead transformation across end-to-end operations: Procure-to-Pay, Forecast-to-Deliver, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire.

- Define KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, process controls, and governance frameworks.

- Standardize SOPs and operating models across multiple plants/locations.

Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs targeting:

- Cost reduction 810%

- 15 to 25 days improvement in working capital cycle

- Contribution toward EBITDA margin enhancement

Technology Integration & Digital Enablement:

- Lead ERP (SAP/Oracle), MES, SCADA, LIMS, CRM, BPM, and RPA implementation & optimization.

- Enable smart manufacturing through IoT, Industry 4.0, analytics, automation, and real-time monitoring.

- Ensure seamless integration via APIs/middleware and ensure UAT/SIT governance.

- Build data transparency, forecasting, and analytics culture.

Operational & Financial Optimization:

- Partner with CFO & Functional Heads to redesign and integrate business KPIs into systems.

- Drive yield improvement, waste reduction, asset performance, and inventory optimization.

- Track ROI, cost savings, capex utilization, and transformation benefits realization.

Strategy Execution & Change Leadership:

- Lead communication, capability building, and organizational change programs.

- Manage stakeholder alignment Board, lenders, auditors, monitoring agencies, OEMs & partners.

- Prepare and present transformation progress dashboards to CXOs and governance committees.

Consulting & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as strategic advisor to leadership teams.

- Collaborate with technology partners, Big 4 consultants, and implementation vendors.

- Serve as SPOC for internal & external audits related to process excellence.

Education:

- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering (mandatory) from reputed University / College

- MBA (Finance/Operations/Technology) preferred leading business school desirable

- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, or equivalent

Experience & Skills:

- Atleast 6 to 10 years with a Big 4 in operational excellence, technology consulting, or large-scale transformation.

- Strong experience in manufacturing / process industries (Sugar preferred).

Expertise in:

- Business Process Re-engineering

- ERP / MES / SCADA / RPA / Analytics

- Operational & financial KPI design

- Cost optimization & working capital management

- Strong gravitas, structured communication, and ability to influence both CXOs and plant teams.
