Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Excellence: Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices for the entire staffing business lifecycle, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and quality across all functions (delivery, talent acquisition, client management support, etc.)
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Technology & Systems: Evaluate, implement, and optimize recruitment technologies, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM, and other operational tools to enhance capabilities and streamline workflows.
- P&L Management & Financial Planning: Drive the P&L for the staffing operations, including strategic budgeting, financial forecasting, and rigorous cost management to achieve profitability targets.
- Performance Management: Define, track, and analyze key operational metrics and KPIs.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards related to staffing operations.
- Develop and enforce robust governance frameworks.
- Inter-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery, Sales, Finance, HR, and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of operations, align on business objectives, and resolve cross-functional challenges.
- Team Leadership & Development (Indirect): Provide strategic guidance and support to operational managers and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the operational teams.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key vendors supporting staffing operations (e., background verification, payroll, technology providers).
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 12-18 years of extensive experience in the Recruitment and Staffing industry, with a significant focus on business operations, process excellence, and P&L management.
- Proven track record of leading and transforming operational functions within a large-scale recruitment firm.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end recruitment and staffing lifecycle and associated operational complexities.
- Strong expertise in process re-engineering, automation, and technology adoption to drive operational efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong P&L management and financial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing operations across multiple geographies (preferred).
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or Operations Management.
- Experience with global recruitment operations.
- Strong network within the industry's operational leadership
