A purpose-built, B2B workforce related platform designed to address needs for India's growing migrant blue-collar workforce is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead their growth and relationship verticals. This person will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and deal closure to onboarding and long-term account expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition & Growth
- Own and drive the full B2B acquisition funnel - from outreach to negotiation and conversion - targeting large employers, infrastructure companies, and aggregators.
- Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, and facility management.
- Identify and pursue strategic enterprise partnerships, unlocking high-volume and long-term contracts.
- Leverage CRM tools and sales analytics to optimize the sales funnel, track performance, and generate actionable insights.
2. Key Account Management & Client Success
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Deeply understand client business needs
- Build frameworks for account planning, quarterly reviews, and success metrics to ensure strong client outcomes.
- Develop account expansion playbooks to upsell additional services, new geographies, or more worker cohorts.
3. Team Leadership & Enablement
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of account managers, enterprise sales reps, and field sales coordinators.
- Set up clear performance metrics, incentive structures, and sales processes to drive productivity and consistency.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of core sales experience with some experience in a workforce management / staffing or related startup business
- Ability to strike and foster relationships with key decision makers of large Indian and global companies
- Ability to build and scale ground up
- Strong communication and leadership skills
