Urgently hiring for a business development Head.
Leading Law firm - Nariman Point
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute business development strategies aligned with the firms vision.
- Identify new markets, emerging sectors, and practice areas for expansion.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to guide decision-making.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients, industry associations, and referral networks.
- Support partners in client pitches, proposals, and negotiations.
- Drive initiatives to improve client satisfaction and retention.
Branding & Marketing Leadership
- Oversee marketing campaigns, digital presence, and PR initiatives.
- Develop thought leadership content including articles, newsletters, and seminars.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and media platforms.
- Measure ROI of branding and BD initiatives to ensure impact.
Internal Collaboration & Team Development
- Work closely with partners and practice heads to align BD efforts with practice strengths.
- Train and mentor lawyers on client engagement and cross-selling opportunities.
- Establish KPIs and track performance of BD and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA (Marketing/Business Development) or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- 1215 years of experience in business development, preferably in professional services (law firm, consulting, Big 4, etc.).
- Proven track record of client acquisition, revenue growth, and brand leadership.
- Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a partnership-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
