Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding market presence, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business development specifically in the tech product or service industry, a deep understanding of the biometric identity industry, demonstrable experience in ARR growth with self & team effort, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Business Pipeline & Revenue Generation: - Create a strong business pipeline with high revenue potential within a limited time & assured conversion ratio. - Drive revenue growth through strategic business initiatives, client acquisition, and product/service offerings. - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Market Expansion & Lead Generation: - Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive business dev. plan to expand market presence in the biometric identity sector across multiple geographies. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to drive growth. - Lead the inside sales team for new lead generation with a strategic approach. Strategic Partnerships: - Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key industry players, govt. agencies, and tech partners. - Negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with the company's objectives. Client Relationship Management & leverage/ build networks: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders. - Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Proposal/ Response & Business Collateral Development: - Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches for prospective clients and partners. - Work actively on the RFP response creation process with similar experience in Govt. or Pvt. tenders. - Work closely with the product, strategy, marketing, and technical teams to tailor proposals to client needs. Market Intelligence: - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. - Use market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market changes. Team Leadership: - Build and lead a high-performing business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. - Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture. Qualifications - Proven experience in business dev., sales, or a related role within the tech or biometric identity industry. - In-depth understanding of the biometric sector, including market trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics in the global market. - Strong track record of successfully driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Leadership experience with a focus on team development and collaboration. - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets. - Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a tier-1 institute with good academic records; MBA from tier-1 colleges will be preferred.
