Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head - Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. This leadership role is responsible for driving business development strategy, acquiring high-value clients, building long-term partnerships, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a strong professional network, and a proven track record of securing large-scale projects within the design, interiors, architecture, construction, or real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the organization's business development strategy aligned with overall business objectives.

- Identify emerging market trends, new business opportunities, and high-growth sectors.

- Collaborate with the Founders to define revenue goals, market expansion plans, and long-term growth strategies.

- Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen the company's competitive positioning.

Client Acquisition & Growth:

- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, retail, hospitality, commercial, and real estate sectors.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, developers, architects, consultants, project management firms, and key decision-makers.

- Lead the complete business development lifecyclefrom prospecting and client engagement to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.

- Develop strategies to increase revenue from existing clients through cross-selling and long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team.

- Establish clear performance metrics, sales targets, and development plans.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with design, project execution, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery.

Partnerships & Market Presence:

- Strengthen the company's brand visibility through strategic partnerships, networking, and industry engagement.

- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.

- Build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, channel partners, and industry influencers.

- Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.

Forecasting & Reporting:

- Prepare revenue forecasts, business development pipelines, and sales performance reports for leadership.

- Track key business metrics and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

- Ensure accurate CRM management and reporting of client interactions and sales opportunities.

- Present periodic business reviews and growth recommendations to the Founders.

Skills & Experience Required:

- 15+ years of experience in business development, client strategy, or sales, preferably within design, interior contracting, architecture, real estate, or construction.

- Strong network across retail, hospitality, corporate, developer, and commercial real estate ecosystems.

- Demonstrated success in winning and managing large-scale design, fit-out, or construction projects.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.

- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and analytical capabilities.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing and dynamic organization.

- Experience working closely with senior leadership and managing high-value client relationships.
