Business Development Head - India Market
Our client is a leading Lifestyle brand that has been creating beautiful homes since 1992. They deal in products placed in Bedrooms, Dining and Living rooms of Luxury homes comprising of fabrics, furniture, bed & bath linen and dcor with a focus on Simple Quiet Luxury Living.
The Role: The client is currently looking for a Head - Business Development (India Market).
- Head - Business Development will lead and oversee growth of Profitable new Domestic business while cultivating key relationships to support sustainable growth.
- S(he) will collaborate closely with the chief marketing officer (CMO), project management team, design and sampling team, legal & finance team on all facets of client development like new business capture planning, making proposals, demonstrating samples and business development strategy.
Job Accountabilities:
- Market research: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of regional and country level trends to identify qualifying business opportunities for our Home furnishings / Furniture / Home products.
- New client acquisitions in both B2B & B2C space. Business house, develop distributers, develop potential territories and clients (through tie up with Architects, Interior Designers, High-end Builders of residential projects and HNI clients).
- Leverage industry contacts for strategic intelligence and conducts viability analysis for business proposals.
- Relationships with existing clients and buying houses, to expand the current business volume and product portfolio.
- Collaborate with the CMO and the project management team to make price to win proposals and approval of product samples by the potential client. Work with product development team/merchants to develop appropriate products.
Eligibility:
- Min 15 years of extensive working and business development experience in the India for home furnishings/Furniture/Home categories value chain
- Working knowledge of textile construction and development from fibre to processing, dyeing, finishing and testing.
- Ability to think strategically and plan over a 1 to 5-year time span
- Negotiating, influencing and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and Leadership Aura.
