To lead strategic initiatives to identify, evaluate, and secure new opportunities for revenue generation in the mining and processing of critical minerals Copper, Zinc, Lithium, Precious Metals like Gold, Silver, Platinum, Titanium, etc) across India and abroad. This role involves market expansion, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, government liaison, M&A, and market intelligence, supporting the company's vision to become a key player in India's clean energy and strategic mineral supply chain.

Role & Responsibilities:

Strategy & Growth Planning

- Define and execute long-term business growth strategies focused on critical and strategic minerals in new geographies

- Identify new exploration opportunities, JV / strategic alliances and acquisition targets in India and globally.

- Monitor global trends in end-user industry to align business opportunities.

- Achieve revenue, profit, and project pipeline growth targets. Lead commercial negotiations, bid submissions, and partnership contracts

Partnerships & Alliances

- Build and manage relationships with exploration companies, international miners, research institutions, and government bodies.

- Negotiate and structure Joint Ventures, MoUs, Offtake Agreements, and Strategic Alliances.

- Represent the company at industry forums, investor meetings, and government interactions.

- Enhance organizations brand visibility in critical minerals through networking, conferences, and strategic PR

Project Development Support

- Work with technical and project teams to assess feasibility, ROI, and commercial potential of new mineral sites.

- Collaborate with exploration, Labs, Operations and ESG teams for early-stage project evaluation.

- Promoting technology-led solutions to differentiate JMS Mining from competitors

Market Intelligence & Policy Engagement

- Analyze policy trends (e.g., PLI schemes, FDI, strategic mineral reserves) and emerging opportunities in India's critical minerals roadmap.

- Provide competitive intelligence, pricing forecasts, and market entry insights.

Commercial & Investment Analysis

- Conduct risk assessment for projects proposed and commercial viability model for new ventures.

- Coordinate with finance/legal teams for due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution.

- Navigating fluctuating global commodity prices impacting project viability.

- Identifying, evaluating, and securing large-scale mining projects and concessions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining, Geology, Mineral Economics, preferably with degree in Business Management

- 15-20 years of experience in mining, strategy, or business development, with a focus on critical or industrial minerals

- Experience with JV negotiations, international collaborations, and government project engagement is essential

Critical Success Factors:

- Deep understanding of critical minerals value chains -downstream industries

- Strong network in the mining, energy, and government ecosystem (India & international)

- Commercial acumen with M&A and JV structuring experience

- Strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management

- Familiarity with Indian mineral policies, auctions, and exploration processes etc.
