Head - Business Analyst

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead the Business Analysis function across multiple projects and business initiatives.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

- Drive requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions.

- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

- Prioritize requirements and manage scope throughout the project lifecycle.

- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Mentor and guide Business Analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

- Work closely with project managers to manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.

- Create dashboards, reports, and business insights using data analysis tools where applicable.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.

- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with experience leading teams or managing complex projects.

- Strong expertise in requirement gathering, business process modeling, gap analysis, and solution design.

- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.

- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Excellent knowledge of SQL and data analysis; experience with Power BI or Tableau is desirable.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, AAC, or Scrum certifications are preferred.

- Experience in domains such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, or SaaS is an added advantage.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote, and multicultural environment.
