- The purpose of this position is to head up the entire brand operations from sales, marketing, brand management, new product development and managing all the customer touchpoints with a focus on the entire 4P gamut of marketing. - The incumbent will be solely responsible for the entire strategy of the brand in the offline and online space and have the top & bottom-line accountability lying with them. Our client is one of the most recognizable lifestyle brands in the country with a near 40 year old legacy in the market. The function to be handled is one of their most iconic brands focused across multiple categories. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Provide the inputs with regard to the annual operating budget, case mix, revenue, with the consolidated product calendar encompassing the product & brand plan aligned to the envisaged business strategy based on the market, consumer and previous trends. 2. Develop mid to long term sales and marketing strategy that supports exponential growth for the brand 3. Create and oversee the execution of a defined marketing strategy by analyzing and identifying opportunities from consumer data to ensure market leadership and growth in revenue as well as brand equity 4. Analyze trends and emerging habits among target customers to recommend action and ensure that our products are in tune with demand 5. Review the product brief developed and present the brief to the design team for the development of the concept 6. Liaison with the NPD team to determine the the production price for products to ensure that price is within the agreed price range and garner required approvals / appropriate actions in case of deviations 7. Liaison with the visual merchandising team for brief of VM team 8. Undertake periodic modifications in the price of the products basis the market analysis, competitor analysis, inflation, product performance and business requirements 9. Define the band positioning among the target consumers and lead the briefing of the agencies (creative, media, digital, etc.) for developing the plan to achieve the brand objectives 10. Ensure the execution of the branding initiatives periodically as per the finalized plan 11. Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections if mandated
