A 1000cr skincare brand is looking for a leader to own our brand narrative and the engine that drives it. This person will report directly to the CEO. You will manage a large, multi-functional team and a significant budget to make us the most talked-about brand in its categories.

The title for this role is flexible. Whether we call it Head of Brand and Content or Head of Growth Content, the mission is the same: lead our creative vision while keeping a sharp eye on the numbers.

The Role

You will oversee four primary functions:

- Influencer Marketing: You will lead a 15 member team. Each member manages a 20L monthly budget. Your goal is to build a massive muscle for micro and nano influencers on Instagram and YouTube. You need to know exactly which influencers fit which products and why.

- Social Media: We have multiple pages across different categories. You will oversee the managers who handle the grid, the messaging, and the daily engagement for all of them.

- Content Production: You will manage the team responsible for scripts, sets, and shoots. You decide which creative agencies we work with and ensure our internal scripts are sharp and effective.

- Video Editing: You will lead a team of 7 editors and their manager. They handle the final production for everything we put out, whether it is for organic social or high-spending performance ads.

What we are looking for:

- We need someone who has actually spent money. In many companies, one person thinks of the strategy and another person spends the budget. We want someone who has done both. You should understand performance marketing and how content affects the bottom line.

Specific requirements include:

- New Age Experience: You likely come from a fast-growing D2C brand. You understand how trends move and what it takes to go viral today.

- Content and Spend: You know how to build a content strategy, but you also understand what that creative should cost and how much to put behind it.

- Platform Expertise: You live on Instagram and YouTube. You know the nuances of what works on each platform and how to spot a trend before it peaks.

- The Right Background: You might be a Creative Director from a top agency like Ogilvy who has worked on beauty and personal care. Or, you might have started in traditional FMCG but spent the last few years at a modern brand.

- Action Oriented: We are looking for an operator, not just a consultant. You should be comfortable managing a large team and making quick decisions on where to allocate capital.
