Job Description: Head Brand & Corporate Communications
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 15 years
Industry Preference: Consumer, Telecom, FMCG, Digital-first brands
Reporting To: Chief Marketing Officer
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head Brand & Corporate Communications to lead brand strategy, corporate reputation, integrated communication, and external/internal messaging for one of Indias largest private sector banks.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong brand-building experience from high-impact consumer or telecom environments, with the ability to translate insight-led brand thinking into sustained visibility, trust, and customer engagement across retail and corporate audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and lead the banks overall brand identity, positioning, and architecture.
- Build long-term brand equity across retail, SME, wealth, and corporate banking segments.
- Drive consumer insights, competitive benchmarking, and brand health metrics.
Corporate Communications & Reputation Management:
- Own corporate narrative, thought leadership, and reputation-building initiatives.
- Manage media relations, PR strategy, crisis communication, and executive communication.
- Strengthen engagement with key external stakeholdersregulators, industry bodies, analysts, and partners.
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Management:
- Lead ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential brand campaigns with strong ROI orientation.
- Oversee creative development, media planning, agency management, and brand governance.
- Build content strategy across digital, social, owned media, and internal platforms.
Leadership, Governance & Collaboration:
- Manage a high-performing brand and communication team.
- Partner with product, digital, HR, CSR, investor relations, and CX teams for consistent messaging.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and brand guidelines across customer touchpoints.
Candidate Profile:
- ~15 years of experience in brand management, communication, and marketing.
- Strong background from consumer, telecom, ecommerce, or FMCG companies with demonstrated ability to manage high-impact national brands.
- Proven ability to build emotional, insight-driven brands with strong customer resonance.
