Head Audience Growth As the Head of Audience Growth, you will be responsible for driving and managing strategies to increase the organisation's online audience, engagement, and reach. What you'll do: - Execute an audience growth strategy, focused on varied demographic profiles. - Explore and leverage various channels and tactics to expand our digital audience. - Collaborate with editorial teams on creating content that is discoverable, searchable, and engaging. - Lead and manage team members who are tasked with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, both technical and non technical. - Implement a social media strategy to grow the organisation's presence on various Social platforms. - Execute content posting schedules, tactics, and monitor social media metrics. Moderate conversations and sentiment on content. - Drive Email and Notification led engagement efforts to reach and retain readers/viewers and listeners. - Use data to track and analyse key performance metrics across digital properties being used. Make data-driven decisions to refine strategies. - Identify and develop partnerships with other channels, aggregators, websites, influencers to expand the publication's reach. - Mentor and lead team members who are working on various tasks around SEO, social media, and data. - Performance Reporting: Weekly report to the organisation's leadership on audience growth progress, key performance indicators, and the impact on the overall business goals.. Who you are: - You have at least 5 years of experience in driving audience growth for media and publishing organisations. - You have successfully led teams and individually demonstrated a track record of organically expanding audiences on digital platforms. - You are hands-on and comfortable working with various analytics tools. - Strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across different departments and teams. - Have exposure and awareness about various publishing channels, platforms, and partnership models. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights to support sales. - Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams.
