
Job Description - Head of Asset Management & Maintenance Lease (Auto)

Purpose of the Role:
- As the Head of Asset Management & Maintenance Lease, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management and monitoring of all lease assets (Auto) during and after the lease period.
- Your role will involve managing asset logistics, vendor/dealer relationships, and ensuring smooth service delivery in line with agreements. You will also focus on improving operational efficiencies, optimizing cost structures, and driving high performance standards across the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for compliance, documentation, risk mitigation, and grievance resolution related to asset management and lease operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grievance handling and escalation resolution related to lease services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors/dealers for asset servicing, including negotiation of discounts, credit periods, and goodwill discounts.
- Oversee the logistics process from asset pick-up to delivery, ensuring seamless movement and timely servicing.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and dealers for service execution in line with contractual obligations.
- Manage the sale of lease return assets, ensuring appropriate disposal and documentation control.
- Oversee settlement of dealer bills as per negotiated terms and facilitate payment processing.
- Expand and onboard new dealers into the network to strengthen the business ecosystem.
- Maintain and update MIS reports in line with process requirements.
- Work closely with used dealers for bidding and selling lease-returned Auto products.
- Ensure proper documentation management for lease return assets and those sold.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact regulatory, financial, or reputational aspects of the business.
- Work towards the learning and development of the team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and growth.
Education:
Relevant Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of asset management, leasing operations, and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to asset leasing and financial operations.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing business environments and drive operational efficiency.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including vendor and dealer partnerships.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to address service-related grievances effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Relevant Experience
- Experience handling teams across different locations.
- Experience in vendor management, lease asset disposal, and documentation control.
- Proven experience working with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors.
