Head - AI Cybersecurity

Position: Head of AI Cybersecurity

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and lead Protectt.ais AI cybersecurity strategy, setting vision, priorities, and execution roadmap.

- Build and manage the AI security function, including team development and cross-functional alignment.

- Identify and mitigate threats across the AI/ML lifecycle; implement threat modeling, red teaming, and

secure development practices.

- Collaborate with AI Research and Engineering teams to ensure secure model development, deployment, and monitoring.

- Establish internal governance and external trust frameworks covering transparency, fairness, and responsible AI use.

- Drive adoption of privacy-preserving technologies and lead security assessments, audits, and incident response for AI systems.

- Represent industry forums, standards bodies, and customer security engagements.
- Continuously monitor and act on emerging AI security threats and research to maintain industry leadership.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, or related field (PhD preferred).

- 8+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years focused on AI/ML systems or adversarial machine learning.

- Deep understanding of risks across AI/ML systems, including model threats, data vulnerabilities, and privacy risks.

- Proven leadership in secure architecture design and large-scale AI threat mitigation.

- Hands-on with tools such as IBM ART, CleverHans, SecML, or PrivacyRaven.

- Familiarity with security standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).

- Strong communication skills across technical and executive levels.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).

- Knowledge of adversarial ML defense and secure model deployment.

- Contributions to AI security research or open-source tools.

- Understanding of regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR) and responsible AI frameworks.

- Experience working with enterprise security, compliance, and audit functions.
