Head - Accounts & Taxation - Family Office

Hiring for a person to head Accounts and Taxation department for one of our leading client in real estate

About the Role:

- Seeking a senior professional to head its Accounting & Taxation function in the Family Office.

- This role requires deep expertise in FEMA, international taxation, and accounting with a family office or Big 4.

- The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and effective tax planning across domestic and international structures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall accounting, taxation, and compliance functions of the Family Office.

- Ensure strict compliance with FEMA, RBI regulations, and international tax frameworks.

- Oversee tax planning, filings, audits, assessments, and dispute resolution.

- Consolidate financials across entities and investments for accurate reporting.

- Partner with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure robust governance.

- Provide strategic insights on tax-efficient structures and international transactions.

Requirements:

- Experience in Family Office / UHNI setups or experience with a Big 4 (E&Y, PWC, KPMG, Deloitte)

- Strong command of FEMA, international taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.

- Proven ability to manage stakeholders, advisors, and regulatory bodies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
