About the Role:


As Head of Automotive Accessories manages the strategy, sourcing, inventory, and sales of OEM and aftermarket accessories to drive dealership profitability. This role involves merchandising accessories, forecasting demand, ensuring proper installation, and training sales staff. The role requires strong product knowledge, supplier management, and strategic marketing to maximize accessory sales opportunities. To create this vertical as independent BU as a profit centre and ensure profitability


Key Responsibilities:


- Strategy & Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability on accessories (seat covers, mats, electronic items, navigation, etc.).


- Inventory & Vendor Management: Manage inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with vendors to source high-quality OEM/aftermarket products.


- Showroom Merchandising: Oversee the merchandising of accessory displays and maintain photo galleries/show books of accessory-loaded vehicles.


- Team Leadership: Train and support the sales and service teams on product knowledge and accessories trends.


- Installation Oversight: Ensure proper installation of accessories, ensuring high quality control and meeting customer requirements.


- Customer Service: Proactively interact with customers on the service drive to identify sales opportunities.


Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in automotive sales or product management.


Skills: Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, interior/exterior accessories, and current market trends.


Leadership: Proven leadership ability to manage teams and achieve sales targets.


Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing preferred.


Performance Indicators:


- Achievement of accessory sales targets.


- Inventory turnover rates and inventory accuracy.


- Customer satisfaction scores regarding accessory installations.
