About the Department : Strategy department is responsible for drawing up organisation-wide strategic roadmap and identifying key initiatives that are essential for the organisation to augment its performance. The team is also responsible for liaison with the Board on organisational performance, identified investor / analyst relations activities and monthly business reviews. Role : To work as a member of the strategy function for design and deployment of the organization's strategic roadmap and business initiatives alongwith the leadership team . The role is expected to contribute towards a mix of functional, cross-functional and organization wide initiatives ranging from the short-term to the medium & long term. Duties and responsibilities : - Work with the leadership team to define financial & non-financial goals for the organization - Ensure deployment of initiatives and action steps to deliver business objectives across departments - Work on a diverse set of initiatives with department heads & cross-functional teams. Support business teams to deliver on their financial goals such as P/L, Cost of Acquisition, EPI and non-financial goals such as improving of business efficiencies, C-SAT, E-SAT, etc. - Environmental Scan, tracking competition, key market moves, regulatory changes and provide guidance to leadership on responses to those actions - Work on key strategic opportunities identified by the organization - Conduct monthly business reviews and other cadence reviews along with leadership teams Education and/or Work Experience Requirements : - Ability to take on diverse tasks, undertake & share data analysis and insights for management action. - 3- 5 years post MBA /CA - Post Graduate MBA - Tier I or Tier II (with strong CGPA/ academic achievements) or a CA - Effective verbal and written communication & presentation skills to stakeholders including top management members (Executive Committee, HoDs,etc.) - Ability to work with diverse stakeholders & internal team - Candidates should ideally have experience in Life Insurance in a strategy/product/transformation role. - People who have managed CEO's office and have worked on cross-functional projects involving interactions with CXOs are also desirable.
