ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: Distribution Planning & Program Management (DPPM) is the centralized strategy and support unit for all sales channels and distribution of the organization. It connects the sales and distribution team with all the other functions in the company and plays as a powerful leverage-point for driving the improvements in sales behavior and effectiveness that result in revenue and profitability gains. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Product Mix and Focus Products: a) Driving Term, Annuity and Rider attachment activation and productivity across all channels through secondary compensation enablers b) Drawing and executing CAPA as per trends basis vintage, geography, repeat performance, etc in coordination with Channels and stakeholders c) Liaise with Actys, Products and Secondary Compensation design team for activating / promoting enablers to drive the focus segments d) Conducting regular product mix councils, monitor actionable and provide monthly update, drive profitable mix for the organization basis guidance from PMC, prepare Quarterly update (PPT) for Product Mix Council Review with MD & CEO e) Extending support / close actionable on all Term related initiatives - Term Council, Qtr. Council Review, Product Mix Council, RI / UW ask, etc. 2. Secondary compensation design and variable management: a) Design Secondary Compensation programs (contests and incentives) for Banca, Group, NBFC and MFI Channels b) Measuring effectiveness of enablers launched against set objectives and highlight study results to management along with CAPA c) Maintain variable budget files for the assigned channels d) Automate activities managed by team, and or use migrate to platforms allowing automation 3. Sales Connect: a) Drawing and executing the Sales Communication framework and change management policy b) Increasing communication app usage enabled for Sales ~ Bizzbuzz and instA c) Executing user management of group IDs used for communication d) Conducting periodic VoCs, FGDs, Online Surveys, etc. for understanding of bottlenecks faced in areas of product, and distribution in multiple areas; draw CAPA / tracks for resolution 4. Customer experience and policies: a) Identifying themes effecting customer experience in terms of distribution and sales, and placing tactical strategies to reduce the same b) Managing customer ownership policy and rule engine in tandem with concerned stakeholders This is a Team Lead role and the job involves constant coordination with Key stakeholders/CXOs across functions - Sales channels, Products, Actuarial Dept, Business Insights, Marketing, Operations, BS&T, etc. WORK RELATED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE : - Proficiency in MS office and tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint) - Strong Analytical skills - Understanding of Life Insurance business domain and different lines of business - Experience in Team Handling Roles - Overall 10-12 yrs (including atleast 5-7 years in life insurance) - Post Graduate (Any stream) - Based out of Mumbai / Navi Mumbai preferable
