Description:

Main Purpose of the Role:

As AVP Product Tech, you will lead the Product Implementation & Project Execution function, responsible for end-to-end product launches, transformation initiatives, and governance across systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Actuarial, Business Solutions, and Enterprise Technology to drive strategic change and deliver high-impact outcomes.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Product Launch & Execution:

- Drive and oversee product launches across platforms and systems

- Lead automation initiatives and manage UAT cycles

- Ensure efficient execution by managing dependencies and aligning with product-specific requirements

- Establish outcome-oriented program portfolios with strong governance

Strategic Leadership & Governance:

- Manage senior stakeholders across departments

- Develop and share best practices in project management, system development, and product launch processes

- Identify and lead cost-reduction opportunities through automation and process innovation

System & Process Innovation:

- Set up product rules and logic to minimize defects

- Design mechanisms for faster and accurate value testing across systems

- Engage with internal teams (Products, Actuarial, Technology, UW, Claims, Customer Service) for continuous improvement

Audit & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory compliance standards

- Prepare RMC and Board-level decks for product governance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

- Product & Pricing

- IT

- Legal & Compliance

- Underwriting & Operations

- Analytics

- Distribution

Experience & Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in life insurance product implementation and cross-functional project delivery

- Deep understanding of life insurance products and policy administration systems (e.g., Life Asia or equivalent)

- Proven track record in managing SDLC or Agile projects

- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

- Self-driven, structured, and highly accountable with a passion for driving change
