Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Scientist / Tech Analyst to join our Sales Strategy & Analytics team. This role combines advanced quantitative modelling with business strategy to drive sales performance and distribution efficiency. The incumbent will work on integrating disparate data sources, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights for leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Combine structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to create unified analytical frameworks
- Deploy analytical methods for sales pattern analysis, customer segmentation, performance prediction
- Drive data-driven decision-making for new channel development, cost optimization, and customer engagement strategies
- Partner with Channel Strategy Teams and CXO's Office to provide insights for tactical and strategic interventions
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable problem-solving ability of translating complex data into clear business insights and strategic recommendations
- Strong foundation in Statistics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Methods
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, GCC
- Added preference for hands-on experience with predictive modelling, time-series forecasting, and optimization techniques
Preferred Background:
- Pre-MBA experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative research
- Exposure to insurance, BFSI, or large-scale distribution ecosystems
