About the Department:
Reinsurance Administration process is part of finance team, which takes care the reinsurance administrative activities including (a) Reinsurance premium and claims computation (b) Products / treaty set-up in ReNova (c) Co-ordination with reinsurer for account settlement (d) Internal/regulatory reporting and (e) Technical accounting.

A dynamic and energetic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support reinsurance team in managing overall reinsurance activities with a high level of integrity, faster execution, respect for timeline and efficient interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

What does the job entail:
- Managing ReNova system, reinsurance accounting along with preparation of reinsurance regulatory reports including but not limited to the following activities:
- Managing Reinsurance function (team of 6 member)
- Understanding of various reinsurance arrangements
- Understanding of insurance product / reinsurance treaties
- Implementation of reinsurance arrangements in the ReNova system
- Calculation of reinsurance premium / claims / SAR
- Preparing reinsurance bordereaux and accounts
- Sharing bordereaux with reinsurers within timeline
- Follow up for invoices and submission for settlement of the accounts
- Internal department co-ordination with Claims/UW/Group/Actuaries etc.
- Regulatory reporting (IRDAI)
Essential Conditions:
- Education: Graduation / Post Graduation / Actuarial is preferred (part-qualification minimum 6 papers)
- Work Exp: 7-10 years (Insurance / Reinsurance company)
- Work related skills: Excellent command over ReNova is Must, Advance SQL, MS Office (Excel, Access, PPT) and Good communication skills
