This role involves driving product segment mix, implementing product credits, and influencing secondary compensation design to boost channel FLS activation& productivity for key products. It involves presenting Channel product performance and insights in product mix council for review and adjustments. Act as a cross-functional liaison to promote enablers to drive profitable segments. 1. Product Segment Initiatives: - Driving Term, Annuity and Rider attachment activation and productivity across all channels - Ensure ULIP share is balanced and profitable, including elements such as Sum Assured, PPT, ATS, etc. - Encourage profitable product mix through secondary compensation programs - Liaison with actuarial function to structure product credits as per Channel and sub channel requirement - Collaborate with Product, New Business Underwriting, Marketing, Actuarial, and Secondary Compensation Design teams to ensure channels have the necessary enablers. 2. Insights on Channel Product Performance: - Analysis on channel product mix performance on key metrics. - Identify trends and opportunity for improvement to drive profitable segments - Periodically lead the product mix council, recommend actions, track implementation, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - Product Council Review update to EC on a regular basis - Competitor Analysis in terms of how they structure their product offerings, how product credits are driven and identification of competitor gaps, strengths and opportunities. 3. Channel Product Strategy: - Coordinate with Channel Team to drive product mix for desired profitability. - Identify new markets, lines of business, micro markets, FLS, and Agent segments for opportunities. - Create a feedback mechanism from distribution to promote sales ideas. Experience: - Education: Full Time MBA from (Tier 1 or Tier 2 college) - Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in product channel management, marketing, or channel management within the life insurance industry. - Proven track record of managing product lines and developing successful channel strategies. Skills: - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM and analytical tools. - Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
