Deputy Vice President - Litigation & Claims

Role:

- To lead Motor Third Party Claims Portfolio - Compensation cases arising out of motor policies

- Handling of MACT matters

- Handling litigation related to retail loan recovery and defending the cases arising due to recovery action taken by Bank against defaulting customers

- To analyze the trends and steer the team for optimum performance

- To monitor Lawyers performance and ensure they adhere to Company's ethics and performance standards

- Keep the team updated with latest legal position and interpretations of the relevant provisions / laws

- Strategize defence line and guide on appropriate evidence being led to protect the interests of the Company

- To prepare and submit various regulatory reports and comply with adhoc reports or data requirements from various authorities, auditors from time to time

- Providing Legal assistance to other departments as required

Education & Experience:

- LLB/LLM

- 10+ Years experience in leading Motor Third Party Claims Portfolio at Zonal or Corporate Level
