Job Purpose : - Identifying emerging trends and providing forward looking insights, backed by data and analytics, across key sectors like spanning infrastructure manufacturing, industrials, commodities, etc. - Work with the team to put together a tech enabled data platform to enable analytics as well as using AI/ML over a period of time. - Enable the team to engage with large corporate clients and policy makers in govt to present insights and offer strategic advice and policy level advice. - This team will work closely with the wholesale credit, corporate finance and project finance team in the bank. - Providing forward-looking data-backed insights to both internal teams and external clients, collating data from various internal and external sources, assist in building various thematic and sectoral models. - Track key variables impacting the industry including demand, supply, prices, regulation, competition, investments and profitability and build cause-effect relationships. - Collate external and internal data sources and assist in building various thematic and sectoral models that go into the data platform in a phased manner. - Regularly track key developments in sectors assigned and ensure that new data, information and insights are captured in a structured manner to refine the existing models/algorithms for predictive modelling. - Leverage on experience in doing research and credit appraisal across sectors to provide inputs to the backend algorithms that will run on the platform.
