About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to lead and manage the Consumer Durable Loan business for the assigned territory. The role involves driving disbursements, improving sales productivity, and ensuring seamless customer onboarding through an effective team of Sales Officers. The position requires strong leadership, process orientation, and a deep understanding of the Consumer Durable Finance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Consumer Durable Loan business through an assigned team of Sales Officers across the designated territory.
- Achieve disbursement targets, improve lead conversion ratios, and ensure consistent sales productivity.
- Monitor sales funnels, track performance metrics, and implement action plans for achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Officers to ensure high performance and discipline.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on processes, product knowledge, and customer handling.
- Monitor team attendance, productivity, quality standards, and adherence to organizational guidelines.
- Ensure complete and accurate loan documentation in line with internal policies and compliance norms.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely disbursement of loans.
- Maintain strong MIS discipline and review key reports for process improvements.
- Interact with customers for onboarding, documentation support, and resolution of queries.
- Work closely with tele-calling teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customer journeys.
- Facilitate seamless communication between sales, operations, credit, and tele-calling teams.
- Escalate issues to management and provide timely inputs for decision-making.
- Capture market intelligence related to competition, pricing, and consumer behavior.
- Monitor early delinquencies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Drive responsible lending practices and maintain the overall health of the Consumer Durable loan portfolio.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Durable Loans / Consumer Durable Finance (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Consumer Durable business, loan processes, and key profit drivers.
- Demonstrated team-handling experience and ability to manage field sales operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-motivation, target orientation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
