About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Collection Manager to oversee bucket-wise collections, Loss on Sale recoveries, and overall portfolio health for the Auto Loans vertical. The role involves managing a team of Collection Associates, ensuring adherence to process compliance, and driving collection efficiency while maintaining cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve collection targets for bucket-wise (Bkt) collections and Loss on Sale (LOS) recoveries in the Auto Loan portfolio.

- Ensure timely and efficient collection processes while maintaining a healthy portfolio.

- Focus on early-stage delinquencies, non-starters, and revenue collection.

- Identify potential risk accounts and take proactive measures to mitigate losses.

- Lead and manage a team of Collection Associates to ensure adequate manpower for complete portfolio coverage as per CAPE norms.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to improve productivity and compliance.

- Ensure 100% usage of the Mobile App with accurate and timely trail updates.

- Oversee repossession activities, ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures.

- Facilitate timely and error-free deposition of collected payments.

- Meet delinquent customers to understand issues and negotiate feasible repayment solutions.

- Initiate legal actions for critical or high-risk cases in consultation with internal stakeholders.

- Monitor portfolio trends, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies.

- Drive effective cost management while maintaining high efficiency in collections operations.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- 3-6 years of experience in Auto Loans (AL) collections - mandatory.

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Marketing or any related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- High level of self-drive, ownership, and enthusiasm for field operations.

- Ability to manage teams, handle pressure, and work in a target-driven environment.

- Good understanding of collection processes, asset deployment, and legal/recovery mechanisms
