HBL Engineering - Manager - Operations

Role Summary:

We are looking for a proactive Operations Manager to lead production planning, customer communication, machine maintenance planning, and cross-functional coordination in our Toolroom (Precision Machining Unit).

You will serve as the primary customer contact for quotes and order tracking, coordinate between Design, Production, Quality, and Stores, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining operational efficiency.

Note: Production execution and shop-floor supervision remain under the Production Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Interaction & Quoting: Provide accurate quotes; act as primary point of contact for order

clarifications and status updates.

- Production Planning & Scheduling: Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans; allocate jobs; monitor plan adherence; resolve bottlenecks.

- Operations Coordination: Align Design, Production, Quality, and Stores; conduct operations review meetings; drive cross-functional efficiency.

- Machine Maintenance Planning: Implement preventive maintenance schedules; monitor machine health; coordinate major servicing and spare parts availability.

- Design & Quality Coordination: Ensure timely release of drawings; support manufacturability and quality alignment.

- Inventory & Reporting: Coordinate material/tooling availability; prepare operational reports for management and Finance.
