Harman - Plant Head

Location: Vasai East , Palghar

Key Purpose of the Role:

To lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring efficient Production, Purchase, Planning, Quality Assurance, Logistics and Dispatch, Safety, Cost optimization, and timely delivery of Cosmetic packaging materials that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

General Administration & Statutory Compliance

- Oversee all plant-level administrative functions.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Manage contracts and relationships with administrative service providers

- Maintain a safe, clean, and disciplined work environment aligned with company policies and best practices.

- Lead, train, and motivate cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for staff and operators.

Production & Operations Management

- Plan, organize, and control all manufacturing activities to meet production targets and customer timelines.

- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

- Oversee end-to-end production processes (injection Molding, Blow Molding, Extrusion, Spray, Metalizing, Printing, Labelling and Assembly.).

- Manpower Management

Maintenance & Engineering

- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant equipment and utilities.

- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure minimal downtime.

- Team is in place , needs a stricter control and sops for standard maintenance

Supply Chain & Inventory

- Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, and dispatch teams.

- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to minimize stock-outs or overstocking.

- Optimize material flow and warehouse management systems.

- Support vendor development and evaluate supplier performance.

- Team in place needs to review and guide.

Skill Set Required:

- Experience in process improvement and project management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Plastic Engineering, CIPET /Mechanical/Electrical Background or having similar experience.

Age: 45-50 Years.
