Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: On-site, Hebbal, North Bengaluru

Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. This role is critical in scaling our workforce by hiring exceptional talent across both tech and non-tech functions, while also contributing to employer branding, employee engagement, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from understanding manpower requirements to sourcing, interviewing, evaluating, and closing candidates.

- Work on a diverse portfolio of positions, including Technology, Sales, Operations, and Support roles.

- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and recruitment agencies.

- Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers for technical and functional assessments.

- Maintain an active talent pipeline for critical roles and forecast hiring needs based on business growth.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

- Strengthen HappyLocates employer brand by creating engaging recruitment campaigns and showcasing company culture across platforms.

- Ensure an exceptional candidate journey, from application through selection to onboarding.

- Represent HappyLocate at career fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events.

HR Operations & Employee Engagement

- Assist in employee onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires.

- Support broader HR functions including performance appraisals, payroll coordination, exit management, and employee engagement initiatives.

- Work with leadership to enhance employee retention strategies and drive HR best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

- 2-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in both tech and non-tech hiring.

- Strong expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.

- Hands-on experience with ATS tools, job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment databases.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment.

Good-to-Have:

- Prior experience in Employer Branding or HR Business Partnering.

- Exposure to HR processes like payroll, appraisals, performance management, and engagement.

- Knowledge of recruitment analytics and metrics-driven hiring.

- Experience hiring for high-growth startups or SaaS/technology-driven companies.
