Happi Planet - Entrepreneur In Residence - Quick Commerce Manager

Role Overview: As EIR - Quick Commerce, you will own and scale Happi Planet's business across quick commerce platforms. You will be responsible for P&L ownership, joint business planning (JBP), assortment growth, platform visibility, and overall business performance. You will work closely with internal teams and customer partners to build QCom into a strong growth engine for Happi Planet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. P&L Ownership & Business Growth

- Own the P&L for QCom platforms, ensuring revenue growth with sustainable margins.

- Build and deliver monthly/quarterly sales forecasts and growth plans.

- Track profitability drivers including trade spends, discounts, and logistics costs.

2. Joint Business Planning (JBP)

- Develop and execute annual/quarterly JBPs with category managers across QCom customers.

- Negotiate visibility slots, promotional investments, and joint growth initiatives.

- Align platform priorities with brand growth objectives to maximize ROI.

3. Assortment & Catalogue Management

- Ensure complete, accurate, and optimized listings across all QCom platforms.

- Expand assortment with new SKUs, seasonal packs, and innovations.

- Maintain catalogue hygiene - images, descriptions, pricing, tags.

4. Inventory & Fulfilment Readiness

- Manage inventory flow into QCom dark stores to ensure 100% dark store availability.

- Collaborate with operations team for timely replenishment and demand planning.

- Proactively flag risks around stock-outs, overstocking, or low-velocity SKUs.

5. Growth Levers & Promotions

- Plan and execute campaigns, coupons, and visibility drives in coordination with platforms.

- Drive participation in QCom platform sales events and seasonal promotions.

- Collaborate with creative/content teams to develop platform-specific assets.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Track KPIs: GMV, orders, contribution margins, conversion rates, ASP, and platform share.

- Benchmark competitor activity (pricing, visibility, assortment) and develop counter-strategies.

- Build dashboards and present business reviews to leadership on a weekly/monthly basis.

7. Performance Marketing

- Own end-to-end performance marketing on QCom platforms, including campaign setup, targeting, bidding, and optimization.

- Manage budgets and ensure efficient ROAS, CTR, and conversions across sponsored ads

- Continuously test creatives, audiences, and placements to maximize returns.

- Coordinate with design/content teams for timely delivery of high-performing ad assets.

- Track and report performance metrics, using insights to scale growth profitably.

Qualifications & Key Capabilities:

- 1-2 years of experience in managing QCommerce channels for a D2C brand is mandatory

- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L or revenue targets.

- Analytical and data-driven, with proficiency in MS Excel.

- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and problem-solving.

- Comfort with working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
