As a Procurement Specialist (MidSenior Level), you will play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement activities, driving supplier performance, ensuring cost competitiveness, and supporting mission-critical operations across manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement & Purchase Order Management:

- Issue and manage purchase orders in line with material requirements for manufacturing, field operations, projects, and technology needs.

- Ensure all procurement activities align with the companys Category Management strategy, policies, and compliance standards.

- Execute strategic sourcing initiatives that contribute to cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply continuity.

Supplier Management & Competitive Sourcing:

- Conduct RFQs, engage in competitive bidding, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best combination of price, quality, and delivery performance.

- Support supplier evaluation processes by collecting performance metrics, monitoring adherence to SLAs, and identifying improvement opportunities.

- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure supply availability and mitigate risks.

Operational Excellence & Process Execution:

- Expedite and de-expedite orders based on changes in operations or production schedules; issue change orders as needed.

- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, projects, finance, and field teams to troubleshoot challenges and maintain seamless supply chain operations.

- Support the resolution of GR/IR (Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt) discrepancies by coordinating with suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders.

Data Management, Reporting & Systems:

- Maintain accurate procurement data and documentation, ensuring complete audit readiness.

- Utilize SAP Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes effectively; recommend improvements for system efficiency.

- Prepare and present reports on procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier on-time performance, and PO cycle times.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Category Managers, Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to understand business requirements and influence procurement strategies.

- Provide insights to internal stakeholders on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.

- 5 - 6+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing, energy, or engineering environments.

- Strong knowledge of SAP P2P processes (highly desirable).

- Experience in supplier negotiations, competitive bidding, and contract execution.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting complex, multi-site procurement operations.

Understanding of category management principles.

Exposure to global sourcing practices.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in procurement reporting and KPI dashboards.
