Role Overview: - The Senior Manager, Regional Sites will report into Principal, Directs & FCL Procurement and is responsible for Direct and Indirect spend for a cluster of manufacturing sites within APAC region. The role will partner with Global and Regional Procurement Category Managers and with local site teams, to drive and support across all dimensions of Procurement delivery. He/ She plays a key role in connecting Category Procurement with the site and business and in establishing and nurturing value-focused relationships with third parties. - This role is accountable for quality, service/supply risk and total cost of ownership across ~4 manufacturing sites. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage supply base for cluster of sites to meet Haleon's requirements and control costs in a fast-moving environment; adapt and respond to regularly changing business requirements - Ensure sites' requirements are considered within the definition and implementation of global and regional categories strategies - Collaborate and coordinate support from Category Procurement teams; working within a matrix organization and managing relationships with other Procurement teams remotely - Support key objectives across strategic pillars of procurement (War on Waste, Growth & Innovation, Keep it Simple, Drive social & environmental impact) - Actively manage and negotiate contracts for selected categories - Support 2nd touch supplier escalations in collaboration with Category Procurement teams - Secure supply chain through integrating risk management approach as a foundation of Procurement, evaluate and mitigate risks associated with long standing local suppliers and single sourcing - Implement global Procurement processes, policies, guidelines and strategies locally and ensure compliance. Challenge requirements and educate stakeholder to drive maximum contract and PSL compliance - Influence the balance sheet of the sites through development and robust implementation of best Procurement practices, balancing both strategic and operational requirements - Lead preparation and implementation of Procurement projects at sites - for example, new supplier introduction, Category strategy implementation, Supply Chain Financing, process improvements - Support annual planning and inputs to finance cycles Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Level of Education: Master's Degree Area of Specialisation: Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing - 5+ years of operational Procurement experience across multiple categories - Excellent knowledge of Procurement tools such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development and others - Demonstrated expertise in managing categories, particularly category strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management - In-depth understanding of external environment and supplier relationship models - Strong knowledge of finance (cost benchmark, financial audit with key suppliers) and legal matters (contracting) - Clear understanding of business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks - Significant experience working in a matrix (global/ regional) business environment - Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build productive and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners - Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills - Strong analytical, written and verbal communications, and influencing skills - Ability to work in high pressure environment, often under tight deadlines - Experience with risk management - Motivation for professional development and willingness to coach, mentor and train others
