
Sales Manager - AWS Service Sales
About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead our AWS Services Sales vertical. This pivotal role demands a proactive sales professional with a robust background in managing OEM relationships, specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll be instrumental in developing new business opportunities in international markets and driving go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with our marketing and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. OEM Relationship Management:
- Establish and strengthen strategic relationships with AWS as a key OEM partner.
- Engage proactively with AWS regional teams to identify co-selling opportunities, execute joint Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, and gain access to partner-led programs.
- Develop comprehensive region-wise relationship maps and serve as a crucial bridge between our delivery teams and AWS alliance teams.
- Stay consistently updated with AWSs product roadmap, partner programs, and incentive structures to leverage them effectively for business growth.
2. Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and rigorously qualify leads for AWS services across targeted geographies including EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
- Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by generating new logos and expanding business within existing accounts.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, encompassing opportunity assessment, compelling client presentations, in-depth solution discussions, professional proposal submission, and astute commercial negotiation.
- Cultivate strong, lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for AWS technology adoption and broader digital transformation initiatives.
3. Collaboration with Marketing
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling and impactful AWS services portfolio collateral.
- Support the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns focused on specific AWS technologies and industry verticals.
- Contribute significantly to content creation for events, webinars, and social media, effectively showcasing our AWS capabilities and success stories.
4. Internal Coordination
- Collaborate seamlessly with pre-sales, delivery, and solutioning teams to design bespoke solutions precisely tailored to client needs.
- Ensure the smooth handover of closed deals to the delivery team, complete with thorough documentation and clear stakeholder alignment.
- Provide valuable feedback on market trends, evolving client needs, and competitor activities to leadership and marketing teams, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- MBA degree from a reputable institution.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with a significant focus on cloud services and strong experience in managing OEM relationships, particularly with AWS.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- In-depth understanding of AWS services, cloud computing concepts, and digital transformation drivers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
