Role Overview:
- We are seeking a driven and strategic AVP - Brand Alliances & Partnerships to manage and grow relationships with partner brands already listed on the GyFTR platform.
- The ideal candidate will focus on maximizing value from existing partnerships, including securing better commercial terms, increasing brand visibility, and identifying co-branded business opportunities.
- You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the- continued success and expansion of these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner Brand Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all listed brand partners.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders from partner brands.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, share insights, and strengthen engagement.
2. Commercial Optimization:
- Lead negotiations to secure improved discount structures and favorable commercial terms.
- Identify and leverage business levers such as volume growth, promotional campaigns, or exclusive positioning to unlock better pricing.
- Align partner objectives with GyFTR's commercial goals to drive mutual growth.
3. Business Growth & Opportunity Mining:
- Explore and propose new business avenues within existing brand accounts (e.g., new product categories, use cases like B2B gifting, loyalty integrations, bulk corporate orders).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to pitch and execute joint initiatives.
- Identify potential for category expansion or deeper brand integration across channels.
4. Data-Driven Partner Strategy:
- Analyze performance metrics including redemption trends, customer demand, and contribution to revenue.
- Provide actionable insights and reporting to both internal stakeholders and partner brands.
- Use data to support negotiations and propose win-win growth strategies.
5. Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, pricing updates, and platform enhancements.
- Ensure timely resolution of any operational or commercial challenges impacting partners.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 6-10 years in Brand Alliances & partnerships & driving scalable partnerships across all industries -preferably in e-commerce, fintech, loyalty, or digital gifting.
Strong Negotiator: Proven ability to lead commercial discussions and optimize partner terms.
Relationship-Oriented: Excellent interpersonal skills with a relationship-first mindset and experience managing senior-level stakeholders.
Analytical & Strategic: Comfortable using data to inform decisions, identify growth opportunities, and drive performance.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication; capable of presenting confidently to both internal leadership and external brand partners.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of digital gift cards, prepaid solutions, loyalty programs, and customer engagement models.
