GyanSys - Lead/Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Role Overview:

Looking for a Lead/Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, deep learning, optimization, and production AI solutions. The role will focus on translating complex business problems into data-driven solutions and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze complex business problems and develop ML/AI-driven solutions.

- Build, train, validate, and optimize machine learning and statistical models.

- Apply deep learning, predictive modeling, optimization, and statistical techniques to real-world problems.

- Work with large and complex datasets for feature engineering, model development, and evaluation.

- Develop and evaluate LLM, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI use cases where applicable.

- Define model evaluation frameworks and ensure accuracy, reliability, and business relevance.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition models from experimentation to production.

- Communicate analytical findings, model outcomes, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

- Mentor data scientists and contribute to technical standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.

- Strong expertise in Python, statistics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.

- Strong experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.

- Experience developing and deploying production-grade ML models.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions with measurable business impact.

Good to Have:

- LLM/SLM, Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI.

- Reinforcement Learning and multi-agent systems.

- Gurobi/CPLEX, LP/MIP, optimization, or OR experience.

- Julia/SciML exposure.

- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or supply-chain domains
