Gyansys Infotech - Senior Data Architect - Azure Databricks/Power BI/Microsoft Fabric

Job Overview:

We are looking for experienced Senior Data Architects with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, cloud data platforms, data warehousing, BI, and analytics. The role requires an individual who can take ownership of end-to-end data solutions, define scalable architectures, optimize data pipelines and reporting platforms, and provide technical leadership to data engineering and BI teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable and robust enterprise data architectures for large-scale analytics and reporting.

- Define data architecture strategies across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL environments.

- Design and optimize modern data platforms, including data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.

- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

- Design and develop data processing and transformation solutions using Azure Databricks.

- Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

- Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.

- Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations.

- Establish and promote best practices around data governance, security, quality, and documentation.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering and BI teams.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI Development, or related areas.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL.

- Strong understanding of data architecture and data warehouse design.

- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Strong experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling.

- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.

- Strong SQL development, optimization, and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience providing technical leadership to data engineering/BI teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
