Role Overview:
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships in your assigned region. This is a high-impact, field-focused sales role designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can independently own and close the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: Lead Generation Prospecting Product Demo Negotiation Closing
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets and productivity metrics
- Identify high-potential SMB/SME customers and create structured sales pipelines
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Conduct field visits, cold calls, and outbound sales activities to generate qualified leads
- Build region-specific lead funnels and maintain strong follow-ups
- Leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities
Customer Engagement & Solutioning
- Understand customer workflows, business pain points, and operational challenges
- Deliver consultative product pitches and tailored PagarBook demonstrations
- Drive product adoption and strengthen long-term customer relationships
- Work closely with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding
Market Intelligence
- Gather competitive intelligence and feedback from the field
- Provide inputs to product and leadership teams to shape offerings and pricing strategies
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior sales executives (if applicable)
- Represent the brand in your region and drive strong customer advocacy
Requirements:
- 4 - 7 years of proven experience in B2B Sales / SMB Sales / Field Sales (SaaS/HRMS/FinTech preferred)
- Strong experience in consultative selling, customer engagement, and negotiation
- Must have a valid Driving License and a two-wheeler for field visits
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in competitive markets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted customer relationships
- Comfort with field sales, extensive travel, and on-ground market interactions
- Experience selling to SMBs/SMEs or working in HRTech / SaaS is a strong advantage

- Business Development Executive / Manager (SaaS / HRTech / Payroll / Attendance Solutions)
- Field Sales for SME/SMB Segment
- Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager
- Sales roles in FinTech, POS solutions, logistics tech, or operations software
- Inside + Field sales hybrid profiles with strong closure experience
