GVK EMRI - Head - IT Operations

Role Overview:

Lead and manage end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure, security, and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure high system availability within SLAs, optimize IT costs, and align technology strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee server maintenance, network infrastructure, and IT security.

- Ensure system uptime and SLA compliance; publish IT performance metrics.

- Manage vendors, IT budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Act as Solution Architect for scalable, secure enterprise systems.

- Drive Microsoft technologies and AI-based initiatives.

- Coordinate IT priorities with business users.

- Lead IT teams, performance management, and quality assurance.

- Excellent vendor negotiation and management skills.

- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-optimization capabilities.

- Ability to align IT strategy with business goals.

- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows, AD, Azure, M365).

- Experience with AI-based initiatives and automation.

- Hands-on knowledge of MySQL databases.

- Proven Solution Architect experience.

- Strong understanding of network & cybersecurity.

- Vendor, budget, and SLA management experience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Technology, MCA.

- IT leadership experience in enterprise or mid-large organizations.

- Relevant certifications preferred (Microsoft, Azure, ITIL, TOGAF, etc.).

- Exp: 15+.

- Location: Hyderabad (50LPA).
