Nature of The Job

The Senior Product Manager will own end-to-end product management for GUS Gateway for Agents & Institutions, driving roadmap strategy, platform maintenance, feature delivery, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong Salesforce product experience, senior stakeholder management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes across an ed-tech ecosystem. The PM will take ownership of delivering actionable recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager (10-12 years) with mandatory Salesforce experience to lead the evolution of GUS Gateway for Agents & Institutions. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Salesforce Admin/Dev, Operations, Compliance, Regional Business Teams) to translate business needs into a clear roadmap and ensure predictable execution-covering discovery, requirements, delivery, UAT, release readiness, and post-release adoption.

This role presents the unique opportunity to help establish best practices, drive standardization, and contribute to the evolving culture of Product at GUS, with an emphasis on Salesforce applications and integrations. You will deepen your expertise in GUS's Commercial applications and infrastructure, enabling you to effectively support both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Own the product vision and roadmap for GUS Gateway (Agents & Institutions) aligned to business goals and global rollout needs.

- Identify problems/opportunities, define outcomes, and prioritize initiatives using impact/effort and stakeholder alignment.

- Drive quarterly/half-year planning, roadmap governance, and executive updates.

Delivery & Feature Execution

- Lead end-to-end delivery: requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, demos, release notes, and change communication.

- Work with Engineering/QA/Salesforce teams to ensure high-quality delivery, predictable timelines, and clear trade-offs.

- Ensure strong Definition of Ready/Done, backlog hygiene, and dependency management.

Salesforce Ownership (Must-have)

- Own product capabilities that are powered by Salesforce (e.g., Experience Cloud / Service Cloud / Sales Cloud as applicable).

- Define integration requirements across Salesforce and internal/external systems; support solutioning with architects.

- Partner with Salesforce teams on enhancements, configuration, security, performance, and scalability considerations.

UAT, Launch & Adoption

- Plan and execute UAT with business users: test scenarios, coordination, defect triage, sign-offs, and go-live readiness.

- Track adoption and feedback loops; ensure improvements are translated into a prioritized backlog.

Platform Maintenance & Operational Excellence

- Oversee BAU: bug triage, incident prioritization, release scheduling, and operational enhancements.

- Monitor platform health KPIs (availability, response times, defect leakage, cycle time) and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

- Engage senior stakeholders across regions to align priorities, manage expectations, and communicate progress transparently.

- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and decision forums; document decisions and next steps.

Desired Profile

Qualification - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 10-12 years in Product Management / Product Ownership (B2B/B2B2C preferred).

- Salesforce experience is mandatory (product ownership, platform delivery, or major programs on Salesforce).

- Experience in EdTech / Higher Education ecosystem preferred.

Skills - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in documentation, process mapping, and business process definition.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.

- Experience in Technology sector is highly desirable.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Optional

- Strong product thinking: discovery, prioritization, roadmap management, and outcome measurement.

- Strong stakeholder management with experience presenting to senior leadership.

- Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban), backlog management, and cross-functional execution.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and structured problem-solving.

Nice-to-have

- Salesforce certifications (Admin / BA / Platform App Builder) and/or experience with Experience Cloud rollouts.

- Familiarity with tools like Jira/Confluence, analytics (GA/PowerBI/Tableau), and customer support workflows.
