SENIOR MANAGER - FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 10+ Years Post Qualification (CA / CPA / CMA / ICWA)
Position Summary
The Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Compliance, Treasury, Taxation and Controllership functions of the organization. The role will ensure strong financial governance, statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, effective cash management and continuous process improvement while supporting business growth and finance transformation initiatives.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Lead end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual book closure.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP and Group Accounting Policies.
- Maintain accounting records, chart of accounts and financial documentation.
Controllership & Governance
- Manage period-end close and financial reporting processes.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and provisions.
- Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations and settlements.
- Establish accounting policies, SOPs and internal financial controls.
- Support implementation of standardized accounting frameworks.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.
- Perform variance analysis, profitability analysis and business performance reviews.
- Develop management reports, MIS and executive dashboards.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital.
- Oversee banking operations, fund utilization and treasury controls.
- Support investment planning and funding requirements.
Taxation & Transfer Pricing
- Manage Income Tax, GST, TDS and all statutory tax compliances.
- Coordinate tax assessments, audits and regulatory reviews.
- Manage Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance requirements.
Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, RBI and applicable regulations.
- Manage ROC filings and statutory reporting requirements.
- Monitor related-party transactions and approval governance.
Cost Accounting & Business Performance
- Drive cost accounting, cost allocation and profitability analysis.
- Perform cost of sales computation and variance analysis.
- Identify cost optimization and operational efficiency opportunities.
Audit & Risk Management
- Lead Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Audit activities.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Strengthen risk management and compliance monitoring frameworks.
Finance Transformation & Process Excellence
- Drive automation, digitization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Enhance ERP utilization and reporting capabilities.
- Support finance transformation and scalability programs.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Lead hiring, capability development and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- CA Qualified
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in Accounting & Finance.
- Experience in IT, ITES, Shared Services, GCC or multinational environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Taxation, Treasury, Audit, Compliance and Finance Transformation.
